Bunny Nose

Apparently Elijah told Matty that picking your nose would give you a bloody nose. Somehow Matty's brain translated "bloody nose" into bunny nose.

Quite frankly Matty seems delighted at the prospect of having a brand new bunny nose. So delighted that he is suddenly trying to pick his nose constantly.

We've all tried to rectify this mistake by correcting him but Matty is violently adamant that he will sprout a lovely squiggly bunny nose and that a bloody nose would be just gross.

I think this is going to have to be one of those live and let learn sort of situations. Until he gets his first real bloody nose he's just simply not going to believe us. Elijah's word is golden and should not be opposed.

Little Ears...

The kids and I were heading into Target and I took a moment to stop and tell the boys that I expected them to stick close to the cart and to always listen to me in the store.

Matty stops me and very seriously says- "You know Mommy... We have very small ears and we can't always listen and obey because our ears are just too small for it to all fit."

Elijah agreed with him quite vigorously and I couldn't help but crack up.

30 weeks pregnant.... 10 to go....

This pregnancy has been a total whirlwind. I'm sincerely shocked by how quickly this has all flown by so far.

In any given day I range from feeling excited to apprehensive about how our newest little addition will fit into our family. I can't help but get a little jittery from time to time about being so outnumbered. But above all other feelings and thoughts I just feel incredibly blessed.

My Little Rascals....

The Jump Rope...

Phoebe has become obsessed with Matty's old bumblebee jump rope. She has been playing with it constantly and refuses to put it down. Yesterday she somehow managed to tie herself to the kitchen chair.

The day before that she sat on Eli's stomach pinning him to the ground while trying to tie his hands together.

This morning both the kids were up by 6 am and Phoebe spent over two hours chasing Matty with the jump rope to try and hog tie him.

You can only imagine the fun shrieking that ensued.

24 hour pee tests and Gummy Worms Galore....

Yesterday was my 25 week/26 week pregnancy check up. At the last minute my sitter canceled on me so lucky, lucky me got to bring Matthew and Phoebe to my Dr.'s appointment.

I packed my diaper bag full of banana's, cheesesticks and capri-suns, hoping to God it would keep the kids happy while we spent our time waiting. As a precautionary measure I stashed a bag of gummy worms in the bottom of my bag in case things got really ugly and I needed to bribe them to stay in the examining room.

Phoebe started crying immediately upon arrival. For about five minutes she sobbed on the floor..... until she realized she had an audience. Then she started getting flirty with smiles and batting her eyes at some unsuspecting old ladies.... which quickly deteriorated into her trying to escape the waiting room to race up and down the halls. At one point almost setting off the fire alarm exit.

I finally get called in. Phoebe is intrigued by all the shut doors everywhere and starts trying to open as many as possible. She busts into someone's office and I apologize while she kicks and screams and I haul her little pudgy behind away. The nurse tries to take my blood pressure while Phoebe continues to try to escape from my grasp. She keeps trying to run to the examining room doors and I keep trying to drag her back completely terrified that she is going to randomly bust in on someone's annual pap smear.

We eventually get moved into the small examining room. The kids are antsy and really don't want to be cooped up in there. Phoebe especially starts getting crafty and trying to sneak towards the door to escape.

I get desperate and pull out my secret weapon- gummy worms. I start tossing the kids each a gummy worm one at a time. Keeping them occupied with books and gummy worms worked a small miracle.

The Dr. comes in to examine me and Matty is very intent on wanting to see everything and understand everything so he moves in close. I give Matty the gummy worm pack with instructions to give Phoebe one gummy worm at a time to keep her busy.

Matty was so cute about hearing the baby's heartbeat and wanting to know what the Dr. was doing. The Dr even showed Matty how to use listen to his own heart.

By the time I was allowed to sit back up and look down at my kiddos I am startled to see Phoebe clutching all the gummy worms in her little fists. The Dr. leaned down and asked Phoebe if he could have a gummy worm. With a big toothy grin Phoebe hands him a half eaten, heavily drooled on piece of gummy worm.

That's when my Dr tells me that I'm going to have to do a 24 hour pee test before my next Dr's appointment because my blood pressure was up higher than usual. Hmmmmm.... wonder how that could possibly be? ;0)

By the end of our visit I'm pretty sure everyone in the office sighed with relief when we walked out the door.

Phoebe's toothbrush and the Peeing Bandit

Today I discovered Phoebe's toothbrush drenched in pee. It was utterly disgusting.

I don't know how it happened... I don't know why it happened.... And at this point I'm suffering from weepy pregnancy hormones and could care less about the why's, when's or how's for fear I'll end up sobbing over the loss of her beloved Winnie the Pooh toothbrush.

But one thing is very, very clear to me- Phoebe will be getting a brand new toothbrush today. Preferably something that will drive Matty wild with jealousy. ;0)

Country House Bliss...

We had a blast up at the country house.

Matty was in heaven and was absolutely over the moon about all the deer and wildlife right outside our front door. He spent a huge majority of his time toting around water guns and playing with the hockey table while Phoebe tried to chase down his pucks.

Phoebe was enthralled with the spa-tub bath. She spent most of her time plotting to escape towards the tub where she she could crawl in and turn on the water by herself. Thankfully it has a super tricky plug so there was no way in the world she could actually plug it up by herself.

The lake was awesome as always. Seriously one of my favorite places on earth. Matty tried his darn hardest to swim like a fish- complete with swishing his tail and pretending to flap his fins.

Phoebe had no fear of the water. She practically tried to drown herself within the first day and was downright gleeful about it. She would charge into the water with a wild abandon. She would actually push away from us in the water because she was trying to swim by herself. She dunked herself at least three times and seemed more delighted each time she went under.
Poor little Phoebe got stung by a bee for the first time while we were at the country house. At first it looked like she was having an allergic reaction and her little hand swelled up to twice it's normal size. But thankfully it was all better after a couple doses of Benadryl and a night of sleep.
All in all we had a kick arse time. Besides little Phoebe's bee sting, I couldn't have been any happier with how well it all went.

And We're Off...

Off to the country house that is.

I'm super stoked and have been looking forward to this trip for months. I've packed all the bags and am literally just waiting for Kevin to get home from work and then we'll hit the road!!!

I can't wait to be at the lake... soaking in some sunshine and just relaxing with Kevin and the kiddos.

A big hooray for summer fun!!!

Doh....

This morning we went to Target. I needed a new mop head because my current mop head is literally as dead as can be.

The kids and I pick up some fun looking Elmo bath bubbles, new shampoo and baby hair detangler for Phoebe's curls.

We continue on for three aisles when I find that I have stepped in some watermelon smelling goop and am slipping and sliding all over the place, desperately trying not to hit the dust in the middle of the aisle.

I find myself surrounded by Target people clucking their tongues and trying to clean up this mysterious trail of goop that was suddenly everywhere.

Much to my mortification I discovered that the leakage was Phoebe's Elmo bubbles that somehow managed to split open. I had literally trailed a massive slime trail through three entire aisles. They had to close down all three aisles to fully mop it all up.

I was horrified. I'm just grateful that they didn't try to ban me and my rugrats from the store. At least not yet anyways. ;0)

Poor Phoebe Bird...

She's been a teething fool these past few weeks.

She's only had her six front teeth for a crazy long time. Now after months of no appearance, all her other teeth suddenly have decided to get in on the action. She brought in six teeth simultaneously in the past two-three weeks. And now I've discovered another two coming in.

When will the teething madness end??!!! She's just so miserable and weepy all the time and I am getting really, really worn down by the constant crying.

I totally cheated and drank a big old fat cup of coffee this morning because otherwise, I don't think I would have made it through the day.

Three little Rugrats and a Day at the Beach...

Last Thursday the kids and I woke up to gorgeous skies and warm weather so I decided it was the perfect sort of day to declare a beach day. It really was a picture perfect sort of day.

The kids had a great time digging in the sand and getting fabulously dirty.

Phoebe went wild with the waves. She was literally throwing herself into the water every chance she got. The higher the waves and rougher the water the more delighted she was. She was literally cackling like a little maniac and would laugh even harder if/when she got knocked down. I tried to get some pictures of her in the waves but I just didn't have any spare hands because I was having to swoop her up every two seconds to keep her from getting trounced by the waves.

Elijah was thrilled to play in the water with me and Phoebe, while Matty ran away from the waves every time they came near his little toes.

All in all it really was an awesome day with my little chickadees.

The Evil Piddling Mastermind and the Whizzing Bandit

Elijah apparently just convinced Matthew that it would be "soooooooo funny" if Matty would pee in his kiddie toolbench toy and surprise me with it.

Trust me.... it was sooooo not funny.

Alas dear Hairbrush.... I loved thee well.

I just discovered Phoebe in the bathroom scrubbing the toilet with my hairbrush.

What makes it even grosser is that she was then brushing her hair with it. She was literally soaked to the bone in toilet water. Blech.

I threw out the hairbrush and gave Phoebe a thorough scrubbing in the bath.

Ickity, ick. Time to install a hook eye lock on the bathroom door where she can't reach.

A day at the park...

Just some video's of the kids at the park a couple weeks ago.

Matty and Elijah walking the "balance beam" and playing-

Phoebe playing in the little toy car she's practically obsessed with-

Who Knew Otter Pops are Miraculous?

This morning Matty opened up the freezer and to his delight he saw that I had stocked the freezer full of otter pops last night after he fell asleep.

He screams out- " Mommy!!!!!! We have otter pops!!!!!! It's a Miracle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Matty just finished his third otter pop of the morning. Apparently it's like kiddie crack to him.

Balloon Slingshot Away....

I just caught Matty trying to rig one of my bra's into a water balloon sling shot in the back yard.

I think I'm going to have to put a padlock on my underwear drawer from here on out. Heaven knows what the neighbors would think if they could see over the fence.

But on the bright side, the bra slingshot really got some excellent height and distance. Those water balloons were flying high and far. ;0)

Phoebe playing in the rain...

Early in the morning last week Phoebe jimmied open the back door early in the morning and she had a ball playing in the rain. Pushing her stroller and jumping in puddles all while still wearing jammies.  Awfully cute stuff according to me.... but of course I'm hopelessly biased and think she's darling no matter what.

PS. Ignore the overgrown weeds and toys everywhere. I swear I've weeded since then and our backyard really doesn't look like a white trash haven where toys go to die........ most of the time. ;0)

Dressing for the Day

I'm carefully choosing my outfit today.

We have a big BBQ/party to go to for one of Kevin's best friends and I really want to look cute. I need to be able to stand there next to all the guys cutesey little girlfriends in their non child friendly heels, expensive clothes and designer bags without looking like a frumpy little housewife in comparison.

So I lay out my options today on the bed finally choosing a casual sundress that accentuates my preggo belly. Next I start rifling through my undie drawer to figure out what bra will go best under the dress. Something that can contain my preggo boobs with minimum amounts of cleavage but manage to stay hidden under the sundress straps.

As I hem and haw to myself, Matty comes walking up behind me and points to a see through brown bra with little butterflies all over it. ( Totally not practical for today) He gets super excited and tells me that the butterfly one is the prettiest and I will be the prettiest Mommy ever if I wear the butterfly undershirt today.
awkward.gif awkward image by B3smileys

I tell him to go run and play and let Mommy get dressed alone. I come out of my room fully dressed and Matty asks me if I'm wearing the butterfly undershirt.

I tell him that no I'm not and let's not talk about Mommy's undershirts anymore. He clucks his tongue like a little old lady and says-"You would have been the prettiest Mommy ever..... It's too bad you didn't listen to me. "

All I can assume is that he's fancying himself the kiddie version of Tim Gunn in the world of undies and bras. Let's hope his critique on my under clothes is simply a fluke and doesn't turn into a regular thing.

Superhero Matty Bug is 4.....

Seriously, where does the time go??? It's all moving much too fast. I swear it feels like just yesterday we brought him home from the hospital.

Matty's been so excited about his birthday for at least the past two months. This past Monday he turned four and we celebrated in true Superhero fashion. All of Matty's little cousins came over and a houseload of Grandma's, Aunts, and Uncles showered Matty with attention.

Matty's Newest Talent

Matty found my old harmonica that my Grandpa gave me when I was a youngster. It has resulted in hours..... and hours..... and hours of musical shows and songs all day every day.

Yeah.... I know you're jealous. You only wish you got to listen to this 24/7 hours a day.

I think my ears are starting to bleed.

The Holy Terror that is Phoebe

Phoebe has turned into a monster. A cute monster..... but a monster nonetheless. She has an attitude that is out of control. Her escapes are seriously rivaling McGuyver in terms of creativity and cunning.

She can open every single door in the house and can jimmy every lock. Baby proofing in this house is a sad joke on Mommy with her around. She can open the baby proof locks faster than I can.

Last Sunday she escaped out the screen door while we were prepping for a picnic and and she made a beeline for the street. I took off running after her when I realized she had escaped but I was a good ten feet behind her when she hit the street at full stride. Thank God Kevin was out there by the van because he was able to cut across and nab her before she was more than three feet into the street. It gave me a freaking heart attack. I've been debating the virtues of getting her a kiddie leash ever since.

At the local park they have several little bikes and cars there all the time so kids can ride around whenever they want. Phoebe is obsessed with one of the little cars. Seriously she will go to check on it every ten minutes or so to make sure it's still there.

If some unfortunate child is in the car she will literally
try to force them out by climbing into the car onto their
laps and squashing them flat. If that fails she tries to
yank them out by the cuffs of their coats.

When I try to carry her away from the car she will
collapse and throw herself around for the next
ten- fifteen minutes..... or until the car is available again.

She loves riding in the cart at the grocery store
and screams bloody murder when I try to take
her out. Yesterday she screamed so loudly that the
entire parking lot stopped and stared. 80% of the
people were wondering why I couldn't control my
child and the other 20% were probably wondering
if I was torturing Phoebe to make her scream so loudly.

One gentle old lady in the car next to mine asked
if she was hurt.

I wanted to retort that she wasn't hurt and
was only a possessed brat that probably needed
an exorcism but I had an inkling that my response
wouldn't have gone over well with such a frail
older lady..... so I simply remarked that she
really loves to ride in the cart and I left it at that.

Moments like these I can't help but wonder what
the hell we've gotten ourselves into.... but heaven
knows I wouldn't trade her for the world.
Temper tantrums and all.

Newish pictures of the Superbaby

I'm currently 16 weeks pregnant and the time is seriously flying by. It's crazy how fast this is all speeding by.

Half the time it's hard to believe I'm really pregnant again. This just seems to be going so quickly this time around that it feels almost surreal. If it wasn't for the growing belly, regular pukage and the urge to spontaneously burst into tears over odd moments I'd swear this was all just a dream sometimes.

As unreal as it is to sometimes think of Kevin and I having our third baby right now it also just feels incredibly right when I feel that little nudger partying down in my uterus. I truly couldn't feel anymore blessed than I feel right now.

My Wild Little Goobers

JeepDoors014.jpg picture by MommyMeglet

They may be wild little goobers..... but they are MY wild little goobers.

Sometimes when I look at their little faces and feel their little pudgy arms wrapped around my neck it almost hurts to breathe I love them so much. Every smile and giggle is so precious to me. My greatest hope and prayer is that I will be a good Mom worthy of their love and trust.

When the Mom's Away the Guys Will Play...

This is apparently what happens when I leave Matty alone with Kevin and his friends for a couple hours.

Phoebe and her Table

JeepDoors004.jpg picture by MommyMeglet

JeepDoors006.jpg picture by MommyMeglet
Phoebe is obsessed with her little table. She's gone on strike from her high chair. I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised that she doesn't care for her high chair anymore but I really didn't expect her to be so violently opposed to it.

She literally screeches and throws all of her food onto the floor if I try to put her in the high chair.

However, if I just lay it on her little table she will carry it around with her munching on it for the next hour littering a trail of crumbs that would put Hansel and Gretel to shame.

Lose, lose apparently.

Getting Poochier by the Day...

I'm starting to look like I'm smuggling some extra bagels under my shirt. It's pathetic that it just looks like I'm getting fatter. Not even pregnant. Just pudgier.

It's become uncomfortable to get dressed for the day. All my pants are too tight but really all my maternity pants are all too big and would just fall off if I were to wear them. I'm down to one pair of stretchy sort of jeans I scrounged up that look like they will be stretched to hell and back again before I'm ready to give them up.

I hate this awkward in between stage of pregnancy. I'll actually be totally relieved when I look actually pregnant instead of looking like a marshmallow that was microwaved for 15 seconds.

Superbaby #3 is past the 12 week mark!!!

I had my 12 week appointment last week and the baby is doing fabulously. Shim is growing by leaps and bounds. It's crazy to think it has gotten so much bigger so quickly. The baby was doing log rolls during the sonogram. It didn't stop squiggling for more than a couple seconds at a time.

I can never get over what a miracle it is when you see that little life living and thriving inside of you. I can't help but see my little bean and be amazed by the grace of God. I truly feel so blessed and I praise God for all the good he has placed in my life.

Phoebe Stays Occupied....

Literally the entire hour we were at the boys soccer practice she ran laps through the hole in the fence. Again, and again, and again, and again. Then at random intervals when she thought I wasn't looking she would make a break for the parking lot..... Oh joy.

The Boy's Soccer Practice

I thought I'd offer up a glimpse of the boys at soccer practice. To a certain extent it's a wee bit painful. Especially the video of Matty sitting on his duff catching lady bugs while the other kids listen nicely and play according to the coach's directions.

Matty's weird cat hiss as he spots me taping him.

Spring Break Children from Hell....

Yesterday was one hell of a day. The boys literally made mess after mess and I just about fricking lost my mind.

First, Matty climbed up his dresser to get into his games that are stashed high up in his closet. He and Elijah dumped all the contents of every game Matty owns on the floor. Then they leaped into the pile of game stuff "dog pile style" and pretended to swim in it.

Then Elijah decides it would be brilliant to empty Matty's dresser by pulling out ALL the clothes and throwing them at Matty. It looked like a freaking bomb went off in his room.

tree-bomb.jpg kaboom image by punkrockprincess5855

I took everyone out into the back yard to play while I was doing some gardening and trying to whip the backyard back into springtime shape. Unfortunately the boys decided to "help weed" and uprooted a giant chunk of my only currently blooming flowers. RIP my dear Calla Lillies.....

Calla_Lillies.jpg Calla Lillies image by gzbrown

I got all grubby from all the weeding so I hopped in the shower to clean off. I come out of the shower ten minutes later to find the boys had stripped down naked, are standing on the kitchen counter taking bites out of every apple we have and throwing cupie oranges at Phoebe yelling "Bomb's Away!!!"

Apple_with_a_bite_taken_out_of_it.png Sin image by TriZetBlu

They ripped all the blankets and sheets off of Matty's bed because they were pretending to be puppies and puppies like to dig things like that all up. Of course!!!!

I'm doing the dishes in the kitchen and I hear the neighbors giant rotweiller dog going nuts barking next door so I stick my head out into the backyard to see the boys have each taken a sheet, climbed up onto the playhouse roof and are pretending to be ghosts and scare the neighbors dog. A dog that could crush them with little effort I might add. "OOoooooohhhhhh....OOOooohhhhhhhh..... We're ghosts and we're going to get you doggy.....OOOooohhhhhh...."

Ghosts.jpg ghosts image by camarocat19

Elijah managed to spill chocolate milk on the couch. I had to wash two of the cushions and a pillow.

Matty snuck off with playdough and managed to smoosh it into his bedroom rug.

While putting Phoebe down for her nap, the boys went wild with the hose in the backyard and absolutely soaked eachother to the bone and made mudpuddles out of the garden area I had been working so hard on.

email.jpg Mud Puddles image by cadamas

I announced a clean up time and Matty and Elijah thought it would be a brilliant idea to simply throw all the toys from the front room into Matty's room on the floor and then us out of Matty's room so I couldn't see the mess and make them clean up anymore. It took me almost ten minutes to pick the lock and get back into that stupid room.

717814.png Pick The Walls Lock image by Trivial_Stitches

We went to soccer practice and Matty spent pretty much the entire time rolling around on the grass, whining about being too tired to run and trying to catching ladybugs.

bugs1.jpg bugs ladybugs image by bucielo

I'm lucky I didn't end up needing to be hauled off to a padded cell yesterday.... but this is only the beginning. I have an entire week of this to look forward to. Today it is raining- joy oh joy.

God give me the strength to last through this week and refrain from drugging them with Benadryl to make the sleep. Amen.

A Bushel and a Peck

Phoebe's most recent favorite song has me flashing back to my distant roots in the cheeriest of ways.

My Grandma Margot was a cousin to the famous Lennon sisters. As a result, their songs have saturated our family for several generations. Most of their songs I fondly remember my Mom singing to me and my siblings. And now I find myself singing their songs to my own little munchkins.

It brings back so many memories and just makes me feel fuzzily content inside to teach my kids the songs that have been sung for so many generations in this family. What my Grandmother taught to my Mother, that my Mother taught to me.

Without much ado, I present Phoebe's favorite song....

Pukage List....

Things I have upchucked in the past two weeks-

- Carrots ( Ouch. That's all I have to say about that.)

- Steamed Rice

- Spaghetti ( I'll never eat spaghetti again. NEVER.)

- Terryaki chicken ( Yeah... I knew it would be a mistake but I was feeling pretty good when I decided to eat it. )

- Milk ( Wretched. I smelled like sour milk all day.)

- Saltines ( In the effort of calming my stomach I ate some saltines and they came right back out again. Not good.)

- Beef top ramen.

- A Pear

- Scrambled Eggs ( Really uber disgusting.)

- Apple juice

- Salad ( Sooo not fun...)

-Watermelon ( Not so bad)

- A plain Bagel

- Reeses Puff cereal

All in all, a fun little list. I think I'm down eating on a daily basis - Phoebe's fruit cups, baked potatoes and Beef top Ramen. Yummy.

On the upside, Maybe I'll be a skinny biznitch when this is all over. I can hope can't I? ;0)

Morning sickness is in full swing.......

And it sucks great big monkey balls.

yeild.gif Caution... Morning sickness image by SophiesTs

I feel like I'm constantly sick. It takes all my energy to get us all ready and out the door every day. Fresh air and being outside helps me feel better so it's crazy important to get out every day. But as soon as I'm back home it starts in on me again.

I can barely stand to open the fridge without wanting to puke. Last night I couldn't bear to make dinner so Kevin brought home some Mickey D's for him and the kids.

When Kevin leaned in for a kiss later that night I almost puked from the stench of his french fry breath.

This is going to be a long 9 months....

Febreezes Away....

Matty absconded with the Febreeze today. He emptied the entire new bottle of Lavender Febreeze in his room. He literally sprayed everything in his room. His bed, his rug, his dresser, books and toys....

He smells like a French hooker and his room reeks so bad I'll have to air it out all weekend to get the stink out. Blech.

Phoebe My Fat Baby

So yesterday, a little girl approaches Phoebe and I who are waiting outside Matty's preschool class. The little girl seems very taken with Phoebe.

Then she turns to me and says, " I've heard that fat babies are good and healthy........ Your baby must be super healthy!!!!"

Her mother looked horrified. I thought it was actually pretty funny and laughed. I told her that Phoebe definitely was as healthy as could be and Phoebe seemed to be particularly tickled by the extra attention.

I love Phoebe's pudge and all her extra rolls. I love how cuddly she is. I'm actually proud to have such a little pudge muffin Phoebe Bird. She is utterly perfect just as she is and I wouldn't trade her for the world.

Phoebe and the Bucket

Lately Phoebe's been spending an alarming amount of time with a lego bucket on her head, coasting around on her Winnie the Pooh train.

So far, I find it hilariously amusing..... but I have to admit that it is equally odd. I refuse to be too concerned because quite frankly, her head is bound to out grow the lego bucket and then it won't be an issue anymore. Unless of course she graduates to using hampers or laundry baskets......

Baby Bean on Board!!!!

It's totally crazy.... And we're absolutely thrilled. I couldn't be any happier about this new little baby. The baby's due date is actually the same due date that Phoebe had. Crazy as that is. But since this baby will have to be a c-section then we're planning on doing the c-section around November 2nd or 3rd so they don't end up with the same birthday.

I had a strong inkling I was going to be pregnant last month. I impatiently waited to take a pregnancy test for over a week. Then I took a test and it was negative. I was surprised because I thought with all my heart it was going to be positive. I waited another week and took another test and it was positive.

Kevin was a bit stunned. Big cheesy smile on his face. Then he insisted on going to the grocery store late at night to get more pregnancy tests to prove it wasn't just a fluke.

As he was checking out the checkout lady asked him if it was a good news or bad news. ( Who asks that by the way?? What was she expecting him to say??? What if the answer was my life will be devastated by a new child?? Seriously... that lady should rethink asking that question.)

Kevin thought she was a bit out of line and ballsy to be asking someone that question so he said- " It depends on whether my wife finds out about it." The lady's jaw dropped to the ground and then he started laughing and said " It will be very happy news. "

He came home and told me about it and I thought it was hysterical. We laughed up quite a storm while examining each pregnancy test in extreme detail. ;0)

We really are thoroughly excited about our new littlest bean.

The Discovery Museum

Yesterday Kevin and I took the kids to the Discovery Museum. It was a really rainy day and we were going insane from being housebound so this seemed like the perfect solution for our Sunday afternoon.

The museum has a great little Tot area set up that is the perfect age for Phoebe which is really nice because not that many places gear things specifically towards little toddlers. We had a lot of fun.

Now I bring to you video's of Phoebe bird having fun and a few occasional shots of Matty hopping in and out.
