Blue Grass Festival

While we were up at the country house we decided to drop in on the local Blue Grass Festival. We stopped in at the Old fashioned ice cream shop that my Grandpa used to take me to when I was a little girl. Then she perused the shops and listened to all the different groups. Music, music everywhere.

Kathryn and Phoebe were as precious as could be. They danced through the streets of Etna in a flurry of twirls, skips and hops.

Matthew and the other boys were more interested in seeing their friends from camp and sneaking up on unsuspecting people with their unloaded nerf guns.

Beatrix was a huge fan of the ice cream..... not so much on the Blue Grass music though.

We ate divinely good hot dogs from a street vendor and saw a rainbow as the sun began to set over the valley. It was a moment of pure magic straight out of a cheesy Hope Floats sort of movie.
