The Hatchery was so much fun. The kids were seriously in love with all of the fishes. For a dime you could get fish pellets to throw in the water and the fish would go nuts splashing and jumping over each other. The kids would laugh hysterically when all the fish would jump and splash. Phoebe would have thrown pellets of food to them all day if we would have let her.
The rest of the afternoon at the hatchery was spent chasing Phoebe away from the waters edge and telling Matthew to stop trying to lure her closer to the fishes. Matthew thought it would be quite funny if she fell in and Kevin had to jump in to save her from all the fishes. Thankfully it didn't come to that... although it would have made for an interesting story.
