We had so much fun on Halloween. Everything from pizza night to the Giants game was an awesome success.
I'll admit that I was expecting a bit of a disaster at first. Phoebe did not want to wear her costume.
I originally bought Beatrix a Little Red Riding Hood costume and Phoebe was going to be a wolf. But Phoebe insisted she needed a red cape just like Beatrix. So I broke down and bought Phoebe a Little Red Riding Hood costume too. But once Halloween came around, Phoebe flat out refused to wear her cape. Go figure.
She started out in the Little Red Riding Hood dress. Then insisted she needed to wear a pink dress with her dress up fairy wings. The fairy wings lasted about fifteen minutes before she insisted that she needed to wear her ballerina tutu instead.
Trick or Treating was so much fun!!
Matthew and Phoebe LOVED it! After we were walking away from our third house Phoebe exclaimed- " This is amazing!!!" Seriously, when you think about it from the perspective of an almost three year old- Halloween is as close to heaven as you can imagine. You walk up to random houses and they give you candy. Pure awesomeness.
We trick or treated through our neighborhood and walked to my Mom's house so she could have a chance to see the kids in their costumes.
It was a great night for us all.
