Today we went to Nanny Betty's pumpkin carving party. ( Nanny Betty is Kevin's Grandmother) She's always dying to see Matty but she lives in Alameda so our opportunities to make sure that she gets to see him are few and far in between. She's a sweet little old lady. Sweet and sharp.... almost always snookered by two o'clock.... Nonetheless, we love her to death.
The party was quite nice, but my funniest moment in the day was when all the guys were congregating in the back yard and very randomly a guy candidly stated that girls can't get pregnant while nursing.... I was standing maybe ten feet to his left and said , "Well actually you can... It's maybe a little harder to get pregnant but it is still a very BIG possibility..." He blanched white and so did his girlfriend..... Ha ha ha ha!!!! Boy did it give me a good little chuckle!!!
